I have purchased a used Peugeot Partner Van from James Grace Motors. Scot the owner was extremely helpful and was not pushy in any way. It was nice not to have the hard sell. He serviced and MOT the van ready for collecting the following week. After driving the van for a few weeks I noticed an oil leak. It only took one phone call to Scot, who without hesitation booked it in and sorted the leak under the warranty he had given me. Second hand car sellers get a lot of bad press, but I can highly recommend this garage for both the quality of his vehicles and the service he provides.

Amazing service from all the team at James Grace Cars. My daughter was looking for her first car, a Fiat 500 and when we went to view the car, we found Scott to be friendly, knowledgeable and there was no hard sell. I have to say that the service before the sale, during and after was second to none. On picking the car up, it had been cleaned, serviced and came with a 3 months warranty.

Fantastic service before, during and after purchase. My 17 year old son had a specific car he wanted for his first purchase. We searched for weeks and saw quite a few. However we chose his Suzuki Swift from James Grace Cars. Despite living 100 miles away, John dealt with me over the phone, held the car for a week pre test drive, gave it a new MOT and fitted a clutch. We arrived and were not disappointed with the drive so opted to buy and collect a week later. Upon returning home the following week, we had an alternator problem. With no prompting, John offered to collect the car and fit a new one but instead we sourced locally and he paid me immediately for the work done. This level of service and communication is so often missing in used car sales. I cannot recommend James Grace highly enough and would not hesitate to travel to buy another car if needed. Thank you from both of us, he loves the car!!

Found a car online with these people. Service was excellent, and the owner is v knowledgeable and friendly. As for the process of buying the car, it was always made clear what was happening and timescales involved. Also did a full Mot, before picking up the vehicle, which is extremely rare. Definite 5 star service.

The test of a good car dealer is how they respond to fix any problems you encounter within the 3 month warranty. Can’t fault John and his team - who tackled a tricky starting issue with a diesel KIA C’eed I bought late last year … as the temp dropped cold starting became a real pain. <>
I tried all the usual basic servicing fixes - changing oil/air filters etc - (the oil one rarely gets done on the C’eed because it’s awkward /labour expensive)… but still no joy … faulty glow plugs were suspected and John’s mechanic was instructed to fit no nonsense quality new Bosch glow plugs - a fractured plug was discovered - drove off happy - strangely the cold starting issues continued … returned, kept cool, left it with them - Finally it was fixed by fitting a specialist KIA fuse component (£46!).
John covered all my expenses to sort this and ensured this customer was finally happy with his purchase. 6 months later the car performs perfectly … and has increased in value!££ bonus!
If you have an issue, it can be a tad stressful, but if you are polite and patient, calm and friendly … John will help fix it if he can. Be aware he is old school and hasn’t time or inclination to respond to e-mail … also be aware uber hagglers who think they will take all the profit out of his vehicle transactions … don’t waste your time … his experience will politely show you the door! Non-indigenous residents to this country need to realise the difference between running a business … and a charity.

In a 2nd hand car trade that will inevitably generate at least some bad experiences with unreliable vehicles and dodgy dealers - when you discover a good dealer - like discovering a good reliable mechanic - stick to them - believe me - they’re like rare gems … it’s an uncertain world out there - especially in this market.

Just how a car dealership should be ran no pressure selling they let the cars sell them selfs went here to buy a new car for my nan had a lovely little nissan note at fantastic price car was perfect even fitted a new sat stereo unit same day we Brought it really lovely guys to chat with highly recommended when I'm next looking for a car which probably won't be long I'll be visiting here again

Brilliant place. Happy for me to test drive on my own, no stress at all. And when I picked the car up and the management light when on, they went above and beyond to get it fixed with courtesy car and even driving down to Wolverhampton to drop off and pick the car up. Couldn't recommend them more
